Service

Our main area of business is the servicing of industrial robots. We offer a full range of maintenance services, and the scope of work is tailored to the customer’s needs.

Service Agreements

Maintenance services, such as technical support and periodic robot inspections, can be provided under service contracts.
A service contract is convenient for both our customers and us—as it allows for the precise planning and pricing of robot services and maintenance over the long term.
A standard service agreement lasts 3 years, which is the period during which we perform most of the maintenance work on the robots covered by the agreement.
Robot inspections vary depending on the replacement intervals for lubricants, belts, batteries, and other consumable parts.
Each robot has its own history, and the cost of maintenance may vary from year to year, as most replacements occur on a multi-year cycle or at specific intervals calculated based on the actual operating time of the robot—as recorded by the hour meter.

While an annual basic inspection is necessary to perform basic maintenance tasks and a thorough inspection of the robot’s technical condition, lubricants must be replaced every few years or after several thousand hours of operation. Separate multi-year intervals apply to batteries, rechargeable batteries, belts, fans, and wiring. Technical recommendations and replacement intervals vary by manufacturer and robot type.

The costs of full inspections with additional replacements can significantly exceed the costs of a basic inspection.
For this reason, a service contract seems like an excellent solution for customers ordering regular robot maintenance.

A service contract generally stabilizes the costs of annual robot maintenance—since the cost of performing all maintenance tasks is averaged out, and maintenance costs the same amount each year.
An additional advantage is the fixed cost of other maintenance services—scheduled work, programming, repairs, and troubleshooting. The cost of these services remains unchanged for 3 years.

As an additional service for customers with service contracts, we have introduced a Hotline—telephone support for troubleshooting robot malfunctions outside normal business hours—and a guarantee of response and on-site service arrival at the malfunction location within a specified, short timeframe.

As part of our service contracts, we provide our customers with:

  • Hotline telephone support, available outside normal business hours
  • A specified response time for breakdowns and service calls
  • Flat-rate billing for service
  • Fixed service costs for the entire duration of the contract
