Yaskawa Motoman robots require regular periodic inspections to ensure their reliable operation and maximum performance. It is recommended to perform preventive maintenance every 6,000 servo operating hours. Servo hours refer to the operating time of the servo amplifier, allowing for precise monitoring of service needs.
During periodic inspections, it is recommended to conduct a series of tests and service activities, such as analyzing the amount of iron filings in the grease, and manually moving the robot to detect unusual vibrations or sounds that may indicate mechanical problems.
