Diagnostics and repair of industrial electronics

Advanced diagnostics and repair of industrial electronics

We fully understand that every hour of production line downtime results in measurable losses. That is why our approach to repairing robot electronics and automation systems is based on in-depth technical analysis and component-level diagnostics

A wide range of electronics diagnostics and repairs

We don’t limit ourselves to simply replacing modules. We restore functionality to damaged components that manufacturers often deem irreparable, which allows us to reduce maintenance costs by as much as 60–80% compared to purchasing new parts. It’s not always necessary to replace an entire, expensive module to get a downed machine back up and running.

Range of supported components

We specialize in servicing key control modules for industrial robots and robotic systems

  • Control units and computers: Motherboard repair, replacement of processors, capacitors, EPROM/Flash memory, and track regeneration.
  • Drive systems and inverters: Diagnosis, replacement of IGBT power modules and control systems
  • Operator panels: Replacement of LCD panels, touchscreens, and membranes; refurbishment and replacement of joysticks; and repair of control boards.
  • System and industrial power supplies: Regeneration of voltage stabilization circuits, repair of DC-DC and AC-DC converters.
  • I/O and communication modules: Repair of Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, and DeviceNet bus interfaces; repair of measurement and signal modules in robots

Diagnostic process and technical facilities

Every component that arrives at our workshop undergoes a rigorous service procedure under ESD conditions:

  1. Preliminary verification: Visual inspection using microscopes to detect overheating, cold solder joints, or mechanical damage.
  2. Active and passive diagnostics: We use advanced digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal imaging cameras to identify anomalies in the temperature distribution of operating circuits.
  3. Specialized soldering: We perform work on IPC-compliant soldering and BGA stations, ensuring precise component placement without risk of damaging the laminate.
  4. Stress and functional testing: After repair, the electronics are tested under real-world operating conditions on dedicated test benches that simulate the operational load of machines and control systems.

Warranty and repair documentation

We provide a warranty for every repair, and the entire diagnosis and repair process is thoroughly documented in a report. Reports may also include photos. We follow service procedures refined over many years.
