Repair of industrial motors and electronics
We strive to provide our customers with comprehensive service. In addition to standard maintenance of robots and industrial machinery, we also offer diagnostics and repairs for robot parts and specialized electronics. Comprehensive services are the foundation of long-term cooperation.
Industrial and Specialized Electronics Service
We diagnose and repair specialized industrial electronics used in production machinery, industrial and specialized robots, and advanced commercial equipment and machinery. We provide comprehensive services.
We manufacture replacement parts and have experience repairing:
- industrial computers and control modules
- advanced and expensive sensor systems
- inverters for specialized machinery, including injection molding machines, feeders, industrial drive systems, and spindle inverters
- repairs of service robots (waiter, marketing, tour guide, and logistics robots)
- various specialized devices
Specialized and industrial equipment is often exposed to harsh conditions and subjected to heavy workloads. Even high-quality electronic systems and components can sometimes suffer damage and wear. Replacement may no longer be possible, as parts are often no longer available from the manufacturer, support is lacking, or parts are very expensive—a common occurrence in industry and specialized applications. Strained supply chains, rising freight costs, and raw material shortages are increasingly making it difficult to obtain the necessary replacement parts.
We manufacture hard-to-find spare parts. We have an advanced R&D department specializing in the design of electronics and 3D components. If spare parts are unavailable, we can manufacture the necessary components ourselves.
We address these challenges and give you and our customers the opportunity to repair expensive and hard-to-find components. We often give industrial machines and robots a second life, and specialized equipment can be used long after our repair. We provide a warranty on all work.
Repair of electronics used in industrial robots
All types and varieties of electronic components can be found in robots and industrial machinery. We specialize in the professional repair of industrial electronics. We understand that new parts and modules for robots, controllers, and industrial machinery are expensive, so we strive to provide alternative and cost-effective solutions for you and our other customers.
Damaged operator panels, robot control panels, computers, I/O modules, and inverters are the electronic components that break down most frequently.
As a service provider for industrial robots and electronics, we repair:
- motors for industrial robots and auxiliary axes
- robot control panels
- control panels for industrial automation
- cable harnesses for industrial robots—repairs, refurbishments, and manufacturing
- computers and controllers for industrial robots
- controllers and modules for industrial automation
- other electronic parts for robots and industrial automation
Contact us if you want to repair robot parts or industrial electronics from your machines.
As part of a free diagnosis, we’ll let you know what needs to be repaired or replaced and what the potential cost of the repair would be.
You can always simply send us the damaged parts for diagnosis.
Repair of motors for industrial robots and specialty motors
Motors for industrial robots often break down, especially during heavy-duty operation and when the robot is working under high loads. Sometimes, the program and tool configuration cause rapid wear of the motor components.
The motor—coupled with the gearbox—is the main component that drives the robot arm. On the one hand, gear oil that can seep into the motor; on the other, heavy overloads, overheating, manufacturing defects, and finally collisions with workstation components or robot accessories—these factors can cause damage.
The most common failures include brake malfunctions—such as locking up or insufficient clamping force—oil flooding of the brake, actuators, or the measurement system; damage to resolvers and encoders; and the detachment or tearing out of magnets and internal components within the motor itself. Bearings and seals are subject to standard wear and tear.
Motor repair involves more than just replacing damaged components; proper calibration and commutation of the entire unit are also essential. We have extensive experience in such repairs, and in the vast majority of cases, we can refurbish a damaged drive for a fraction of the cost of a new motor.
We repair motors for ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Hyundai, and Aubo robots, as well as drives from other manufacturers.
Typical electric motor service includes:
- Precise disassembly while maintaining the motor’s calibration and commutation parameters using a measurement system
- Cleaning of all components
- Replacement of seals, especially in areas in contact with gear oils or greases
- Grinding or replacement of discs and mechanical components
- Replacement of electrical components, including measurement systems, if necessary
- Precise reassembly while maintaining commutation parameters and proper alignment of the measuring system
- Operational tests under controlled load and braking tests
Our workshop features test stations for inspecting any electric motors, which we designed and equipped ourselves. Importantly, we test motors for industrial robots on actual robots and after connecting them to original inverters controlled by robot computers, as we have also built test stations with robots from most modern generations of ABB, Kuka, and Fanuc.
Thanks to our extensive inventory of robots and test controllers from major manufacturers, we also repair and test inverters and components of power supply systems for industrial robot electric motors.
The electric motors and inverters used in robots are dedicated drives, used exclusively in these specialized applications. Replacing the entire motor with a new one is usually very costly, especially since parts used in industrial robots are priced in hard currency.
